The Lapua Monarch Cup (LMC) is a series of World-Class Smallbore Rifle Silhouette Matches conducted throughout North American to crown an annual North American Champion. The inaugural LMC was first conducted in 2022 with a (2) match series competition in both the USA and Mexico.
The 2023 LMC was expanded to a (3) match series competition in Canada, the USA and Mexico. The 2024 and 2025 LMC’s reverted back to a (2) match series format in the USA/Mexico and Canada/USA respectively and is the must-attend event of each rifle silhouette shooting season in North America.
Planning is now in the works for the 2026 Lapua Monarch Cup. Competitors can once again compete within their respective classifications (Master, AAA, AA, & A), giving all shooters an opportunity for big cash prizes!

Your Lapua Monarch Board of Directors has reviewed all the submitted 2026 LMC Proposals and has selected the following (2) locations for Stage 1 and Stage 2 of the 2026 Lapua Monarch Cup North American Championship! We wish to thank all the clubs that submitted a proposal.
Stage 1 – 2026 USA National Smallbore Silhouette Championships (July 26 – 28 at Ridgway, PA)
Stage 2 – 2026 Coahuila Smallbore Silhouette State Championship (October 10-11 at Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico)
The winner of the LMC Stage 1 & Stage 2 Combined Aggregate will be crowned the 2026 North American Champion!

About Us
With the 2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025 LMC’s in the books, this championship event is now recognized as a World-Class Event in Rifle Silhouette. Silhouette shooters from all over North America gathered to compete against the best. Friendships made and friendships renewed also made the Lapua Monarch Cup Series one to remember for all the participants.
The birth of LMC began at the 2019 Mexico Smallbore Silhouette Championships in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico. A small group of top Silhouette Shooters from Mexico, Canada and the USA met during this National Match and agreed to organize a North American Smallbore Silhouette Championship Series.
Work soon began with Lapua (Title Sponsor) & the Capstone Precision Group agreeing to back this newly created LMC Championship Series. Soon after, a LMC Board of Directors and Advisors was formed along with the establishment of the LMC Vision, Mission and Goals. While the Covid Epidemic delayed the launch of the LMC Championship Series until 2022, the dream born at the 2019 Mexican Nationals is now a successful reality and growing legacy!

The 2026 Lapua Monarch Cup Match Schedule is as follows:
Stage 1 – 2026 USA National Smallbore Silhouette Championships (July 26 – 28 at Ridgway, PA)

Match criteria has been established to ensure the integrity of each match of the LMC.
The Lapua Monarch Cup Board of Directors has also set specific requirements for hosting an LMC Championship Match. They are open to all clubs in North America submitting a proposal to host one of these historic events!
To join us for the 2026 Lapua Monarch Cup, simply register for any of the (2) 2026 LMC Stage Matches as the match registration material becomes available. Scores will be used from these matches to award the winners.

Travel Information
Many Rifle Silhouette shooters have never experienced crossing the International borders between Canada, Mexico and the USA to shoot a Stage of the Lapua Monarch Cup (LMC). Regardless of the country hosting the match, the Host Clubs and Match Directors are required to assist all Rifle Silhouette shooters from other countries with travel tips, accommodations, lodging and other logistical matters. This is done to ensure every shooter is encouraged to participate in all LMC matches, have an exceptional experience and do so in a safe and orderly manner.
Mexico, Canada and the USA all have specific requirements for traveling through Customs with a firearm. We have included a summary of information on these specific requirements to get you started. You will be rewarded with perhaps the highlight of your time shooting Rifle Silhouette!

2025 Lapua Monarch Cup Results
Jake Stine wins the 2025 Lapua Monarch Cup!
Jake Stine has been crowned the 2025 Lapua Monarch Cup North American Champion at the NRA Smallbore Silhouette Nationals in Raton, New Mexico! This is Jake’s 2nd LMC Championship victory, repeating his first LMC win in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico in 2023!
Going into the 2nd and final LMC Stage in Raton, it was a tight race between Justin Marsh (105) Jake Stine (104), Cathy Winstead-Severin (103) and Erich Mientenkorte (102). Once again, consistency with solid scores is key and Jake delivered in style with solid 2nd Stage scores (36, 33, 35) for a final aggregate score of 208! Congratulations also goes out to Cathy Winstead-Severin (205), Erich Mietenkorte (203), and Justin Marsh (202) for their excellent final scores.
