NASSA Rifle Benchrest Silhouette Rules Released!

Smallbore Rifle Benchrest Silhouette will be an integral part of the Inaugural SK Lone Star Cup (SKLSC) to be held on June 7-8, 2025.

To help support the SKLSC, the North American Silhouette Shooting Association (NASSA) has officially released the Official Rules of Rifle Benchrest Silhouette. Rifle Benchrest Silhouette is organized, sanctioned, and governed by NASSA and the rules can be downloaded on the NASSA website link below:

Rifle Benchrest Silhouette, shot on the same relays as our Standing Silhouette Competitors, has proven to benefit our silhouette sport in both Texas and Louisiana.

It does so by filling more relays, increasing attendance and is a great “gateway discipline” to introduce both new and younger shooters, parents as well as giving older senior shooters a challenging alternative.

A big thanks to Dustin Flint for starting and growing this new discipline in Louisiana and writing the Official Rules of Rifle Benchrest Silhouette. The SK Lone Star Cup is pleased to be able to carry on with this mission in Texas!

The SK Lone Star Cup is also adding great match incentives for Smallbore Rifle Benchrest Silhouette participation, such as:

  • Special $90 reduced entry fee for adults and $50 for juniors (early registration).
  • Benchrest Open Class Aggregate Winner Trophy and medals for 1st Place in Master, AAA, AA, A & B classes.
  • $500 in prize money distributed in Open, Master, AAA, AA and A classes.
  • Free SK Rifle Match Brick (500 rounds) to all rifle benchrest silhouette juniors!
  • Participation in the overall SKLSC Prize Table.

So, whether you have young shooters just starting out, you are a parent who wants to shoot, a new shooter who wants to get started or experienced seniors who wants a new challenge, sign up, come out and join us!
