Edgar Rueda is the 2024 Lapua Monarch Cup Champion!
Congratulations to Edgar Rueda, winning the 2024 Lapua Monarch Cup and being the 1st Mexican Shooter to capture the “LMC Top Shot” title since its inception in 2022!
With only 3 targets back of Jake Stine after the 1st Stage in Ridgway, Edgar Rueda was well within striking distance. All this with “borrowing” a rifle to shoot the 1st Stage at Ridgway! With his brother Pedro spotting for him, turned in a Dominant 2nd Stage Saltillo Performance of 110/120 and with it, clinched the 2024 LMC Championship!
With Edgar dominating the LMC 2nd Stage at Saltillo, a real battle unfolded at Saltillo for 2nd through 5th Place in the 2024 LMC Overall Championship between Enrique Kuess, Jake Stine, Erich Mietenkorte and Jimena Davila.
Enrique’s 105/120 score at Saltillo, combined with his 102/120 score at Ridgway, gave him a total 2024 LMC Overall Aggregate score of 207/240. This performance tied Enrique with Jake Stine due to Jake’s strong performance in Ridgway. Jake won the shoot off against Enrique, both finishing 2nd and 3rd in the 2024 LMC Overall Championship respectively.
Erich Mientenkorte demonstrated consistency both at Ridgway and Saltillo, scoring a 206/240 and placing 4th in the 2024 LMC Oveall Aggregate, one point behind Jake and Enrique. Jimena Davila finish 5th in the 2024 LMC Overall Aggregate, one point behind Erich at 205/240 after a strong finish at Saltillo.
Edgar Rueda Wins LMC 2nd Stage in Saltillo!
Both Edgar Rueda and Enrique Kuess got off to a hot start for the 2nd Stage in Saltillo. Edgar shot a 37/40 & 35/40 and Enrique a 36/40 & 36/40 to tie on Day 1. Edgar would fire a blistering 38/40 on Day 2 in windy conditions to take the Stage 2 Saltillo Aggregate. Jimena Davila would also pick up the pace on Day 2 with a fine 35/40 to tie Enrique for 2nd Aggregate for Stage 2 in Saltillo and eventually place 2nd Overall in front of Enrique’s 3rd Overall performance in a tie-breaker.
Marko Nikko Wins LMC 1st Stage in Ridgway!
Defending 2023 LMC Champion Jake Stine got off to a blistering start with a 39 against Marko Nikko’s 33. The two would continue to do battle with a 35 and 36 in the 2nd match respectively. Marko would flip the script with a solid 38 against Jake Stine’s 33 in the 3rd round. Marko won the high stakes shoot-off as both tied with a 107 LMC aggregate score.
Honorable mention also goes out to Kalib Santiso with at 32, 37 and 37 for a 106 aggregate total & 3rd place in this Stage 1 of the LMC!

2023 Lapua Monarch Cup Results
Jake Stine is the 2023 Lapua Monarch Cup Champion!
The 2023 USA LMC final results are in and 19-year-old Jake Stine (USA) held on to his lead from the USA second series to win in Saltillo, Mexico! It has been a meteoric rise for West Texan Jake Stine in his five years of shooting Rifle Silhouette.
John Mullins (USA), tied with Jake coming into this 3rd and final series, ended up finishing 3rd overall. Gabriel Villareal (Mexico) would squeak by John Mullins with a fine performance for 2nd overall. We knew this would be a closely fought 2023 LMC Championship and the final results only proved this to be the case!
The results below also list the A, AA and AAA shooters who also also earned cash and a LMC watch for their performances!

2022 Monarch Cup Results
Congratulations to Dustin Flint (Baton Rouge, LA) who is now the 2022 Lapua Monarch Cup Champion! Dustin was in a great position after winning the 1st Leg of the LMC Championship Series at the 2022 NRA National Smallbore Silhouette Championships in Ridgway, Pennsylvania, USA. He held on and added to his LMC points lead in the 2nd Leg of the LMC Championship Series in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico.
Congratulations are also in order to Nancy Leal Navarro’s performance in Saltillo to close out the LMC Championship Match Series in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico. Simply outstanding shooting!

country (2 matches, i.e. the highest possible points accumulated will be 40 points) - Whomever accumulates the most points in 2 matches will be the Lapua Monarch
Cup Champion for the Lapua Monarch Cup North American Championship Series. - If a tie scored occurs, the shoot-off will take place on Turkeys (2 sets of 5 rounds =
10 rounds total). If still tied, one set of 5 shots will follow. If the score remains tied,
sudden victory will apply next.
